About us
Our Vision & Mission
Our goal is to deliver reliable, respectful, and person-centered care that helps individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort in their own homes while providing families with peace of mind.
We believe that exceptional care is built on trust, meaningful relationships, and a genuine understanding of each person’s unique needs. We are dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional, spiritual and practical aspects of well-being, ensuring every client feels valued, respected, and cared for.
Whether providing nursing services, personal support, companionship, or care coordination, our focus remains the same: helping people live safely, comfortably, and confidently at home. Through compassionate relationships and professional
care, we strive to provide peace of mind for both clients and their families.
Founder & Clinical Director
Angela Masse
BScN, RN, Psychotherapist
Angela “Angie” Masse (she/her) is the Founder and Clinical Director of Kindred Path Home Care. She is a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from the University of Windsor, and is also a Psychotherapist.
With more than 10 years of nursing experience, Angie has cared for individuals across a variety of healthcare settings, including pediatrics, medical-surgical care, geriatrics, chronic disease management, and community health. Throughout her career, she has witnessed the importance of compassionate, coordinated care that supports not only physical health but Wholistic.
Driven by a passion for helping people remain safely and comfortably in their own homes, Angie founded Kindred Path Home Care to provide high-quality, person-centred services that honour each individual’s dignity, independence, and unique life story. She believes that exceptional home care is built on trust, meaningful relationships, and a collaborative approach involving clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
As both a Registered Nurse and Psychotherapist, Angie brings a unique perspective to home care. She understands that health extends beyond medical needs and recognizes the important connection between physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-being. Her clinical expertise allows her to support individuals living with chronic illness, complex medical conditions, dementia, palliative care needs, mental health concerns, and major life transitions while helping families navigate the healthcare system with confidence.
In addition to her clinical nursing and psychotherapy experience, Angie has served as a Clinical Manager overseeing two inpatient hospital units, leading multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. In this leadership role, she supported patients throughout their recovery journey while mentoring healthcare professionals, coordinating complex care, and promoting excellence in clinical practice.
Her experience in physical rehabilitation has provided her with extensive knowledge in helping individuals regain strength, independence, and confidence following illness, injury, surgery, stroke, or other significant health events. Working alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, Angie helped patients:
- Recover following surgery or hospitalization
- Improve mobility, balance, and functional independence
- Adapt to physical disabilities or neurological conditions
- Manage chronic illness and complex medical needs
- Transition safely from hospital to home
- Prevent hospital readmissions through coordinated discharge planning
- Set meaningful rehabilitation goals and celebrate progress
- Access community supports and healthcare resources
- Support caregivers throughout the recovery process
- Navigate complex healthcare systems and care transitions
This leadership experience reinforced Angie’s belief that successful recovery extends beyond the hospital walls. She understands that healing continues at home, where personalized support, continuity of care, and strong partnerships with families can make a lasting difference in a person’s health, independence, and quality of life. This philosophy is at the heart of Kindred Path Home Care’s approach to delivering compassionate, coordinated, and holistic care.
Today, Angie oversees clinical care, mentors, and supports the care team, develops evidence-informed care practices, and ensures every client receives safe, ethical, and individualized care that reflects the highest professional standards.
